Accelerated Reader is a computer-based program that Tattnall uses to monitor reading practice and progress. It is one of many methods our teachers use to guide their students to books that are at their individual reading levels. Students take short quizzes after reading a book to check for understanding.

High School students in grades 9-12 are required to earn at least 20 hours of community service per year, for a total of at least 80 hours to graduate. This must be turned into the High School Guidance Counselor.

As a Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) school, students in grades 4-12 need a device daily that is easily compatible with Google applications. Click the link above to help you make the best possible decision for your needs.

Every student must have a yearly physical on file with the Office of Athletics.

Schoology Login – Access to Schoology allows you, the parent or guardian, to view the homework assignments for your child’s courses, classwork, and materials available for your child, and grades earned by each child. We know you are excited to follow the progress of each class, so please review the following to establish your Schoology access. This applies to parents of new students and any returning parents who desire to add a child or change their login email address. Should you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected] with your query and contact information.

• Complete the form available here. Please enter your information exactly as the questions request.

• You will receive an email once your Schoology account is created. Please allow up to three days after your form submission to receive this email message. In the body of that message, you will find the link to Schoology and login information to your account. Your parent account will already be connected to your child/children.

• When you first login to Schoology, please follow the tutorial pop-up boxes. This will help you navigate your new account.

 Tattnall Square Academy offers a summer program for children entering Pre-K4 through 5th grade.

Lower school students (rising 2nd and up) enrolled in Summer Daycare will have the opportunity to go to the Computer Lab to test at least once a week.

ALL Students who are rising 2nd -5th graders may continue to take AR quizzes from home.

*Rising 4th-5th grade students should NOT test over their REQUIRED books until they return to school.  This will take place in the classroom with their teachers.  However, they are allowed to test over any other books they read for pleasure.
